The whole bean presentation provides a much longer shelf life over ground coffee.

Costa Rican Honey Processed Coffee – 100% Arabica Coffee

We grow some of the best Honey Processed Coffee in the world on our farm in Atenas, Costa Rica.

Finca Coyol sits above 1350 meters, which designates our coffee as being grown at high altitude. This, in addition to our volcanic mineral rich soil, our perfect southern exposure, our Honey Cure Process and what is universally considered one of the best climates for living and growing coffee on the planet, gives us the ability to grow some of the best Fair Trade, Single Origin, Hard Arabica Bean available. We have begun our transition to a future organic farming certification and are moving away from the monoculture farming practices found in many coffee growing regions of the world which can be damaging to our environment. We have planted a wide variety of tropical fruit trees and vanilla orchids which partially shade our coffee plants and provide a more naturally balanced environment for the birds and wildlife that inhabit our farm. We have also just received permission to import our hemp seeds into Costa Rica, which will allow us to once again use the healing powers of the Cannabis Sativa plant to cleanse our soil of the agrochemicals and fertilizers used throughout the conventional coffee industry.
